Day 1

Arrival at Guwahati and Transfer to Shillong (100km / 4 hours)

  • Start your journey to Shillong, also known as the "Scotland of the East."
  • En route, stop at Umiam Lake (Barapani) to enjoy the serene lake views.
  • Check in to your hotel upon arrival in Shillong.
  • If time permits, enjoy local sightseeing in Shillong.

Day 2

Shillong to Mawlynnong & Dawki, Transfer to Cherrapunji (245km / 9 hours)

  • Depart for Mawlynnong, Asia's cleanest village, famous for its living root bridges.
  • Visit Elephant Falls and Shillong Peak en route.
  • Continue to Dawki, near the Bangladesh border, to enjoy a boat ride on the Umngot River, known for its crystal-clear waters.
  • Proceed to Cherrapunji for an overnight stay.

Cherrapunji Sightseeing (60km / 7 hours)

Transfer from Cherrapunji to Kaziranga (370km / 9 hours)
